The mission of the Middle College National Consortium is to
- Provide leadership and support for members and prospective members
- Drive educational reform at the secondary and post-secondary levels
- Promote a national perspective on the middle college model that guides member schools’ practice and the development of new middle college high schools

- Contributing to the core of educational knowledge through research
- Ensuring communication between secondary and post-secondary institutions
- Building and expanding membership through outreach and inclusion
- Hosting annual professional development conferences and arranging other opportunities for members to work collaboratively
- Providing technical assistance for the start of new middle colleges
So that member schools can develop and sustain a successful model of collaborative education that expands students’ future opportunities.
